Women’s Ministry

Break Me, Melt Me, Mold Me, Fill Me, Use Me

"Behold, as the Clay is in the Potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand.” - Jeremiah 18:6

The mission of the FBCOG "HOUSE OF FAITH" WOMEN'S MINISTRY is to foster spiritual growth and to minister to the needs of the entire woman spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally. It is our goal to be a ministry of service to the sisters of FBCOG and to the women in the community-at-large.

The Women's Ministry consists of several sub-ministries - Spiritual Growth, Evangelism, and the Human Services Ministries.

The SPIRITUAL GROWTH MINISTRY has the task of developing effective programs for the spiritual development of our women. This Ministry facilitates a bi-weekly Women's Bible Study, the annual Women's Retreat, conferences, and other special events that foster Christian education, fellowship and the spirit of worship among the sisters.

The EVANGELISM MINISTRY is also a component of the Spiritual Growth Ministry. The Evangelism Ministry is designed to win souls to Christ. This Ministry distributes tracts and provides service to the Helping Up Mission.

The HUMAN SERVICES MINISTRY seeks to involve our sisters in meeting the needs of women in the church and community by creating opportunities for women to gain knowledge of the things that affect daily living. "Am I my sister's keeper? YES, I am!" The Human Services Ministry facilitates many events, including but not limited to, workshops and seminars on acquiring basic job skills, fine-tuning job interviewing skills, resume preparation, employment and personal relationships.

All women at FBCOG are members of the Women's Ministry.
