Young Adults Ministry
“Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity” - 1 Timothy 4:12
The FBCOG "HOUSE OF FAITH" YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY (Y.A.M.) was established in early 2013. Y.A.M. is dedicated to building more active young adults ages 18-30. We promote and encourage young adults to live a healthy, Christ-driven lifestyle. Through education, leadership and mentorship, we teach the importance of service to the Church and to the community-at-large.
Y.A.M. is comprised of 6 sub-groups. These groups focus on the needs of today's young adults and collectively comprise the YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY.
- Young Adult Bible Study
- Community Service
- Singles. This group meets monthly and focuses on unmarried young adults.
The YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY meets twice a month (every other Sunday) directly following the 10:30 AM service.
Y.A.M. is seeking to build a strong ministry! If you are between ages 18-30, please feel welcomed to introduce yourself and jump aboard our great team (together each accomplishes much)!
Y.A.M. has two advisors: Rev. Lisa Robinson and Mrs. Belinda Strayhorn.
