Diaconate Ministry

Mission:

Our purpose is to function as servants of our Lord, Jesus Christ, serving in and through the church as partners with the Pastor in enabling the church to fulfill its Kingdom agenda.

Vision:

The Diaconate of First Baptist Church of Guilford feels led by the Lord to express our Ministry by serving to seek and meet the specific needs of the congregation according to our individual gifts and abilities.

The Diaconate Ministry also servers the church membership through Family Ministry Teams. Each member is assigned to a Family Ministry Team based on the first letter of their last name. The Family Ministry Teams focuses on spiritual needs, concerns or questions as we walk together on this Christian Journey.
